At our facility in Hardenberg (98 FTE, 25M euro turnover), we produce customer-specific Human- Machine-Interfaces (HMIs) solutions for demanding applications with a team of specialists and advanced machinery.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a driven Finance Professional who, in addition to fulfilling his or her own ambitions, wants to guide and support a team of three colleagues in their growth and success.

You have a completed, relevant HBO education and a hands-on mentality. You have strong business acumen and deliver high quality, accurate and timely work. You have leadership skills, analytical talent and critical thinking skills, and can quickly identify and solve problems. Proactivity and independence are your second nature, where you can fall back on expertise from head office and colleagues locally and internationally. You also have a good command of the English language, and preferably German as well. Knowledge of SAP and MS Office is an advantage.

What will you do?

At SCHURTER, it's all about making the most of your experience and talents. As Team Leader Finance, you are responsible for correct, complete and timely administration based on the SCHURTER Group's financial policy. You are part of SCHURTER's international Finance team, with responsibility in the field of Finance for our location in Hardenberg.

You act as the central point of contact for internal and external parties, such as auditors, banks and insurance companies, and oversee IT and automation.
You lead projects aimed at improvements and provide timely, accurate management information and reports. You also draw up budgets and forecasts and take care of the monthly, quarterly and annual closures. You ensure that financial administrative declarations, such as tax returns, annual accounts and CBS returns, are carried out flawlessly. Business control for the production location is also part of the job, for which you carry out in-depth analyses.

You also play an important role in preparing investment requests and annual accounts, working closely with the accountant. The management of insurance, leasing and subsidies is also part of your duties, and you ensure that everything complies with applicable laws and regulations.

In doing so, you manage your colleagues in financial administration and help them with complex issues. You know how to get the best out of your colleagues with your personal approach. And therefore also out of the team.

As a member of the management team, you are jointly responsible for developing and fine-tuning cross-departmental policy. You initiate and set frameworks, shape and contribute to strategic organisational policy. In addition, you set an example and actively propagate the company's mission and vision.

We offer you a one-year contract for this challenging job with the intention of converting to permanent employment after one year.
