My first impression of SCHURTER when I came here was great. I immediately saw the approach. In my previous work experiences, I had to do everything at a fast pace, but here it is so different. At SCHURTER, things are very conversational, with no stress. If there is a mistake, people help me fix it. I also really like my team. Everyone is unique, but we try to help each other and adapt accordingly.
My position within the company is Assistant Controller and I also do some application management. What I like most about my job is the dynamics of it. I love figuring out and analyzing complex issues, especially when it comes to numbers and financial data. This work offers me a lot of versatility, making every day different. Routine jobs are not really my thing; instead, I get happy from tasks where I am challenged.
I work here as an Assembly Assistant and am also working internally to become a final checker. Tasks involved are laminating touchscreens, mounting touchscreens in a carrier, preparing the carriers and testing products. It is often the case that we start the preparations at the beginning of the week and further into the week the products are completed.
The atmosphere at SCHURTER is very pleasant and nice. There is an informal but professional culture. I really appreciate the flexibility in my working hours and the autonomy I get in my work. Working from home or going home a day early is not a problem within the set parameters. For me, this is a big plus for working at SCHURTER.
What I especially like about my work is the variety and challenge. Every day is different and there is always something new to learn. In recent years I have gained a lot of experience in different departments, so I now have a good overview of the entire company. This helps me to work more efficiently and solve problems quickly.

As a HR Business Partner, I bridge the gap between management and the shop floor, gauging sentiment, identifying information needs and monitoring norms and values. I am responsible for advising managers and facilitating HR processes in areas such as talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement.
