IQ Hackathon 2024

In May 2024, Hardenberg will be all about technology and innovation, thanks to the very first IQ Hackathon themed ‘The Future Factory’.

This 30-hour event will be held during and on the exhibition floor of the MIX Expo on 15 and 16 May at the Evenementenhal in Hardenberg. This hackathon brings together student teams from MBO, HBO and WO to tackle concrete issues of the ‘factory of the future’.
The students are challenged to come up with solutions to various ‘problem areas’ within the factory and, if possible, create their own solutions to these in the form of a prototype.
SCHURTER is one of the companies that issued an assignment, namely:

‘Design the ideal workplace of the future’.

Step into the world of the factory of the future! This is not just about robots - people continue to play a crucial role. With the latest technologies such as Cobots, AR, Gamification and Exoskeletons, workers are supported to make fewer mistakes, work more efficiently and feel healthier and happier. Think chairs that adapt to your body, sit/stand tables that keep your energy up, and many more innovative ergonomic solutions.

But what will the ideal workplace look like in 10 years' time? That's for you to imagine! Let your imagination run wild as you think about smart technologies, inspiring designs and an environment that brings out the best in people.
All this will take place on the show floor of the Make Industry expo!
