Warehouse and Logistics Team Leader
As warehouse and logistics team leader at SCHURTER, I am responsible for the daily operations of our department. Our department does the bookings of incoming goods and the coordination of outgoing shipments. My goal is to delegate more and more tasks to my team members so that I can focus on the overview and solving bottlenecks.
Since I started at SCHURTER 23 years ago, I have held a variety of positions, from screen printer to team leader to buyer. This variety keeps the work challenging and interesting. It is a pleasant work environment with a good atmosphere. Contact with colleagues, regardless of their position, is informal and approachable.
What I especially like about my work is the variety and challenge. Every day is different and there is always something new to learn. In recent years I have gained a lot of experience in different departments, so I now have a good overview of the entire company. This helps me to work more efficiently and solve problems quickly.
At SCHURTER, I also get the freedom to contribute and implement my own ideas. This ensures that I can always look for ways to improve processes and make them more efficient.
I would definitely recommend SCHURTER as an employer. The atmosphere is good, there is a lot of freedom and the challenge and variation in the work make it a nice place to work. Everyone complains sometimes, but in general we have excellent working conditions here and there is a lot of room for personal development.
