CAD engineer
My role as a CAD engineer has given me the opportunity to be involved in fun projects.
My day consists of consulting with colleagues and customers, creating drawings and coordinating production requirements. What I enjoy most is seeing the end result - when my ideas become reality and our products successfully leave the production line. That gives a good feeling and a lot of satisfaction.
The atmosphere at SCHURTER is very pleasant and nice. There is an informal but professional culture. I really appreciate the flexibility in my working hours and the autonomy I get in my work. Working from home or going home a day early is not a problem within the set parameters. For me, this is a big plus for working at SCHURTER.
My ideas are taken seriously and implemented. About 10 years ago, I figured out that Print-and-peel, a layer that serves as a protective layer of our products during the production process, could be recycled. Now a decades later, that idea is still being used in production.
My time at SCHURTER has really boosted my professional growth and development. I have had the opportunity to take courses and improve my skills, and feel supported by the company. In fact, I have become so motivated that thanks to SCHURTER, I want to develop myself further and attend training. The fact that my potential is seen and appreciated motivates me to give my best every day.
Would I recommend SCHURTER to others? Absolutely. The friendly atmosphere, challenging projects and opportunities for personal and professional growth make it a great place to work. My message to new colleagues would be: be yourself, enjoy the opportunities you get and be proud of what you accomplish. At SCHURTER, you will truly feel at home.
